The Information Technology department provides technical support for the clerk's employees within the various operating and administrative departments. The clerk's office utilizes the latest hardware, software, and communications technology to support a wide area network of over one hundred workstations.
The IT department supports the subsystems that provide electronic access and data exchange capabilities for the district attorney, the courts, and others in the criminal justice system.
IT also supports the clerk's Web Services, the clerk's Internet based service, which has become the clerk's principal means of providing access to public records to attorneys, abstractors, elected officials and the public at large.
